Last updated: 26th August 2026

Welcome to KMP Carpentry & Joinery. These Terms & Conditions apply to all carpentry and joinery work carried out by us. By engaging our services or accepting a quotation, you agree to the terms below.

1. About Us

KMP Carpentry & Joinery
Unit S3, Coleseed Business Centre, Coleseed Drove, Upwell Rd, March PE15 0DJ
Email: karl@kmpjoinery.com

2. Scope of Work

We provide:

All work is carried out based on agreed specifications, discussions and quotations provided prior to the project starting.

3. Quotes & Orders

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

A project is confirmed once the quotation has been accepted by the customer and any deposit requested by KMP Carpentry & Joinery has been received.

Where a deposit is required, work will not be scheduled and materials or made-to-measure components may not be ordered or produced until payment has been received.

Any changes requested after acceptance of the quotation may affect the agreed price, scope of work and project schedule. Additional work or variations will be agreed with the customer before being carried out.

4. Cancellations

Customers should notify KMP Carpentry & Joinery as soon as possible if they wish to cancel or postpone agreed work.

Where a project is cancelled before work begins, the customer may be responsible for costs already reasonably incurred in connection with the project. This may include materials ordered, bespoke or made-to-measure items, preparation work and other project-specific costs.

Once work has commenced, the customer will be responsible for the cost of work completed, labour provided, materials purchased or ordered, and any other reasonable costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.

Where bespoke or made-to-measure items have already entered production or materials have been specifically ordered for the project, these costs may not be refundable.

Any refund due following cancellation will be calculated after applicable costs have been deducted.

5. Materials & Workmanship

We use FSC and PEFC certified materials suited to each project and work with trusted suppliers to ensure high-quality timber. Due to the natural characteristics of timber and the handmade nature of our work, variations in grain, colour and finish may occur. These are not considered defects.

All work is completed to a professional standard in line with agreed specifications.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

7. Payments

Payment terms will be confirmed as part of the quotation or agreed with the customer before work begins.

8. Liability

We take care to deliver all work to a high standard. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers or couriers.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of those courts.
