Welcome to KMP Carpentry & Joinery. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website and completing a purchase, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. About Us

2. Products

• All of our products are handmade to order in our UK workshop.
• Many items can be personalised (e.g. engraving, fonts, options).
• Please check details carefully before placing your order.

3. Orders & Cancellations

• You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order has been placed.
• Personalised items: once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled.
• Non-personalised items: you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order in line with UK consumer law.
• Customers may check out as a guest or create an account. If an account is created, it is the customer’s responsibility to keep login details secure.

4. Delivery

• Delivery is available to UK addresses only.
• We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard.
• Dispatch times:
  • Non-end-grain products: 3–5 working days
  • End-grain chopping boards: 5–7 working days
• Multiple items are shipped together, based on the longest lead time.
• Delivery usually takes 2–3 working days after dispatch, but may take longer during busy periods.

5. Returns & Refunds

• Personalised items are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged.
• Non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days of delivery in line with UK consumer law.
• If your item is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 14 days for a replacement or refund.
• Refunds, where approved, will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow up to 7 working days for funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Payments

• We accept payments securely via:
  • WooCommerce Payments (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • PayPal
• Payments are taken at the time of order.
• Marketing communications are only sent where you have actively consented, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

7. Liability

• We take great care to ensure that our products are made to a high standard.
• Once dispatched, delivery is handled by Royal Mail. Occasional delays may occur, especially at busy times.
• Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
